LES CHIENS DE SAINT-TROPEZ

We are delighted to share with you our third photo book project, ‘LES CHIENS DE SAINT-TROPEZ – Et leurs amis du golfe’. It was out of love for dogs and the village that this idea came to life.

For this project, we once again photographed dogs belonging to Tropéziennes and Tropéziens, tourists, and people who have a second home in or around Saint-Tropez, including Sainte-Maxime, La Croix-Valmer, Grimaud, Gassin, Ramatuelle, Cogolin, and Le Plan-de-la-Tour.

Famous icon and animal lover Brigitte Bardot lives in Saint-Tropez, surrounded by her beloved dogs. Naturally, we dedicated several pages to Brigitte and her dogs, and she was kind enough to write a heartfelt story for our book. The first copy of this third edition will, of course, be offered to her!

The project was organized by Brigitte Schaming, with Line Holtermann Juge as the photographer, Rob Simons as the designer, and Leena Hybinette-Bergknut and Danielle Dessart responsible for copywriting and translation. Danielle is also the artistic director and the publisher.

This project consists of a book featuring photos of dogs and their owners, along with an editorial on the relationship between dogs, their owners, and Saint-Tropez. In addition, a photo exhibition showcasing images from the book will be organized in spring 2025 in Saint-Tropez. This exhibition will be open to the public free of charge from May 2 to 6.
